Sunstate Kawana is go

While only being away for a week on my ill-fated kayak fishing expedition I missed a few monumental events that I would have liked to have been there for. One was the cinema release of Dark Knight Rises (caught that in an arvo session today). The other was the opening of Sunstate Hobie's new gargantuan showroom in Kawana, which isn't just a fabulous location for the legions of Sth Coast QLD kayaking scene but also for the endless holiday makers who pass through on their way north (many of who have a Hobie kayak strapped on their roof) and probably should stock up on rudder pins, just in case...

By all accounts (Dunebuggy has been helping out with the showroom fitout and is relaying some impressive descriptions) Sunstate's new store sounds like a cracker, with every single boat in Hobie's range - kayak and otherwise - proudly displayed. No doubt there's a massive range of parts and accessories on show to. if not before I'll most definitely be popping in to check it out on my way up to Fraser Island later this year!
